HyperX Cloud Flight review: A solid wireless headset joins the venerable Cloud line

HyperX’s debut wireless headset is missing some key features, like chat mix and microphone monitoring, but it looks good, sounds great, and feels excellent. Another contender for our $150 headset pick.

Audio is clean and well-balanced; Incredible noise isolation, even at moderate volumes; Comfortable, with intuitive built-in controls;

No software means few options for enthusiasts; Microphone is passable, but nothing special; Expensive compared to the competition;

HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless Review

Comfortable design; Detachable microphone; Great tonal balance; Crisp audio;

Lack of Bluetooth; Performance issues; Not enough features to justify price;

Great build quality and sound!

These headphones sound great and the build quality is beyond expected for the price. My brother thinks these are as good as my MMX 300, but I disagree. However, I thought it was important to voice his option as he is the one actually using these.

HyperX Cloud Sliver Gaming Headset , In-line Audio Volume Control And Microphone Mute, Versatile Multi-Platform Compatibility.

I purchased this headset for communications purposes rather than gaming. This was done after a study of specifications and ability to perform well over the voice range. I am more than satisfied with my purchase. Purchase on-line was very easy and delivery of product was very fast. Top marks PBTECH.

If it’s for PS4 don’t bother

This is a great headset if you are intending on using for pc however if you have a PS4 don’t bother the usb dongle is obviously not optimized well at all for PS4 so the mic cuts out, so much so that my friends tell me that I’m almost inaudible at times!! (Hyper X also doesn’t have a fix for this at all online!!) If you’re spending this much money on a product I would hope that it would work as advertised!

Decent Headset Overall with a few big drawbacks

Pros: Battery Life Sound Quality Detachable Mic Simple Software Style Points Cons: No Surround, Limited to Stereo Bad Comfort (main reason behind the -2 stars) Overall decent headset but serious shortfalls on comfort. They cheaped out on the padding where the top of the band meets the head.

Microphone is really bad, sound is really quite!

Unfortunately had to send these back, the microphone is shockingly bad, and the sound is extremely quiet to what I am use to, even with everything turned up full these were not loud enough, bit of a disappointing purchase.

HyperX Cloud Earbuds for Nintendo Switch - Red

When I first used these earbuds to play my Nintendo Switch and I was blown away by the quality of the sound! Playing Zelda and Mario Odyssey while wearing the earbuds I could really hear the game come to life! They're not noise canceling but they cover about 75% of background noise.

Review: The HyperX Cloud Flight is like an online gaming buddy

If you're looking for gaming headphones that can double as an everyday pair for multimedia on-the-go, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Don't get me wrong. The HyperX Cloud Flight is a great set on its own: quality audio, excellent wireless capability, good battery life and is comfortable to wear… in...

HyperX Cloud Flight review: HyperX makes the jump to wireless but doesn't reach its usual heights

If you want good battery life, comfortable design and are satisfied with decent sound quality, these might fit the bill. Unfortunately, without any virtual surround sound or noise-cancellation tech, the HyperX Cloud Flight headphones make the jump to wireless but lose something in the process.

Battery life; Comfortable design

Audio quality a weakpoint; Noise pollution an issue
