Huawei Watch 2 (4G) – Review
When it comes to being "in the loop", sometimes you're simply not able to keep checking your phone. So, for that those important messages or notifications, this is where the smartwatch has tried to help out. But is it all it hoped to be? Even after several updates and improvements?

Great Watch for every day use.
Great watch, light weight looks great. Battery life is two days. I purchased this after owning the Huawei watch second generation that also has 2.0. The Huawei 2 is a great addition for a all purpose casual watch. Very comfortable. Great product from Huawei.

The smartwatch industry has been stagnating in recent times, so it was good to see a big launch at MWC 2017 after months of very little activity. The Huawei Watch 2 was unveiled alongside Huawei's latest flagship smartphone – the P10 – and at first sight, it looked very promising indeed.

Huawei Watch 2 review: Now only £200
Sales of smartwatches haven't quite taken off in the way manufacturers would have liked them to, but Google, Apple and a host of third-party manufacturers keep plugging away, despite all that.
Pros:
- Decent battery life
- Packed with sensors
- Android Wear 2
Cons:
- Expensive
- Plastic strap looks nasty

Huawei Watch 2 LTE
Within the category of smartwatches, the Huawei Watch 2 is a great device. But that doesn't mean it's one you need to buy if you're not already sold on wearables.
Pros:
- The Huawei Watch 2 is one of few watches that supports 4G connectivity
- though not in the US
- and does fitness tracking as well as any other wearable
Cons:
- No features that make this a must-have device for the average user
- It's also a little too big and bulky, and its 1.2-inch screen is too small

Huawei Watch 2 review: a fitness focus that falls flat
The original Huawei Watch was one of my surprise favorites. It didn't have an overabundance of features, but it ran Android Wear nicely and it looked good doing it. With the new $299.99 Huawei Watch 2, the company pivoted hard.
Pros:
- Very accurate heart rate monitor that works 24/7
- Built-in GPS means you can run without your phone
- It's not as bulky as sportier watches like the LG Watch Sport or the Garmin Fenix 5X
- Watch's speaker produces surprisingly good audio quality
Cons:
- The screen is so small it makes text very hard to read
- especially while moving
- Battery struggles to last 24 hours
- Not particularly attractive
- Plagued with lag
- crashes
- and random bugs

The Huawei Watch is a slick, second-generation device that irons out the kinks of the past, emerging from the chrysalis of iteration as the fully-fledged smartwatch it always could have been, given patience.

- Good battery life
- Solid performance
Cons:
- Display too small
- 4G connectivity isn't elegant
- No waterproofing

The Huawei Watch 2 is a capable device that's smarter than your average smartwatch with even more connectivity than any other smartwatch as well thanks to the 4G SIM card onboard.
