Huawei P8 Lite
Huawei needs to get its naming conventions in order. While its premium line of "P" phones gets a new number every year (we're now up to P10), the P8 Lite keeps its name despite being an entirely new phone in the Lite range.
Pros:
- Attractive design
- All-day battery
- Android 7
Cons:
- Easily scratched
- Patchy performance
- Slow camera

Huawei P8 Lite PRA-LX1
While Androidphones are still in the minority this offering from Huawei has it. Until last year Huawei was a name I had not heard of. A huge launch brought the P9 to the world's attention and although this was launched much later this is the latest version of the P8.

"Good price, quite good phone"
I have this smartphone for two years and I am quite happy. Its main advantage is the price and so I'm not too upset that he started to mow. That could be expected. I could not expect anything other than plastic.
Pros:
- Price
- dual sim
Cons:
- battery
- plastic

Huawei P8 Lite Review
It's a shame that Huawei is a bit of an unknown entity in the United States, because the Chinese device maker consistently releases great-looking hardware that performs just as well as that of its American competitors.
Pros:
- Sleek
- clean-looking build
- Edge-to-edge display looks great
- Solid battery life
Cons:
- Huawei's Emotion UI is terrible
- Specs
- while still decent
- are frustratingly lower than larger model

Huawei P8 review: Slighted by software
It's been a curious year for flagship smartphones so far: from the impressive highs of the Samsung Galaxy range revamp, with the company's S6 and S6 edge, to the oh-it's-the-same-again HTC One in its M9 form .
Pros:
- Affordable
- majority of design is on point
- tiny bezel design
- microSD card expansion
- camera is impressive
Cons:
- EMUI interface annoyances
- battery life ought to be better
- processor has heat and power consumption issues

Huawei P8 Lite
Without a carrier to subsidize their prices, unlocked phones can get expensive. Not so with the Huawei P8 Lite, however. At $250, £180 or AU$300, it's incredibly affordable -- it costs about the same as some high-end devices with a contract.
Pros:
- The Huawei P8 Lite has a low price
- a lightweight design
- a sharp camera and dual-SIM capabilities
Cons:
- The handset runs the rather dated Android KitKat OS
- and its camera settings don't rotate when the phone is held in landscape mode

The Clone Wars continue: Huawei's iPhone-like P8 reviewed
Huawei's P series has always been about the best of the best without you needing to sell a kidney, so can this year's model fight the threat that is the iPhone, or is it just a poor cousin?
Pros:
- Comfortable to hold
- Well built
- Fairly fast
- Free screen repair (for one time) if you break the phone's display
Cons:
- Storage amount could be larger
- Mediocre battery (standard for a flagship
- though
- No 802.11ac despite the phone being flagship
- Huawei's take on Android may not be ideal for all
- Included screen replacement cost feels like a bit of a useless feature if you never break your screen
