Last year Huawei announced the P20 Pro in India and towards the end of 2018, we saw the flagship Mate 20 pro with triple rear camera. Now the company is launching their latest flagship smartphone in the P series, the P30 Pro with quad rear camera in partnership with Leica.

In many ways, the P30 Pro and P30 are both iterative phones. Both devices are taking aspects first introduced in their predecessor P20 series – as well as the sister Mate 20 series – and improving and packaging them into phones with an emphasis on photography.

HUAWEI launched the P30 Pro in India and it sets a new standard in mobile photography, as we know the heart of the P series is the camera co-engineered with Leica. The P30 Pro packs a whopping four cameras in the backside powered by Leica and a selfie camera that's as big as 32 MP.

Despite how you might feel about its rumored ties to the Chinese government (or lack thereof), Huawei has undeniably made some of the most technologically advanced phones of the last three years.
Pros:
- Big zoom telephoto lens, unique image sensor, excellent battery life, stunning color options, tons of features No official U.S
- support, lower res screen than most of its competitors, EMUI can feel a bit clunky, no CDMA compatibility

Huawei P30 Pro Review
When it comes to smartphones these days, a big emphasis is being put on the camera. Whether it's bumping up the megapixel count or being able to take photos basically in the dark, the camera plays a big part in a flagship smartphone.
Pros:
- Excellent camera with great low-light capabilities
- Smooth performance
- Long battery life
- The notch is fairly minimal
- Priced cheaper than some other flagship smartphones
Cons:
- The in-display fingerprint sensor doesn't work all the time and needs improvement
- EMUI still has some quirks
- The design hasn't changed much over the P20 Pro

Potential buyers have two things to consider. They must weigh up Huawei's UX and services experience, which is overall patchy, with the much-improved package offered by Samsung, Huawei's big rival. Huawei has poured investment into its imaging R&D and the results can be impressive.
