Huawei P30 6GB 128GB
The super zoom capabilities of the camera set up had tongues wagging ahead of the Huawei P30's release in Paris. There was also a lot of buzz about the new 40-megapixels main camera and the 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Display wise, the P30 has decent-sized 6.1-inch OLED panel, and a very impressive 6 Gb, or even 8 GB, of RAM, and 128 GB storagey. When you consider that the P20 had just 4GB of RAM, this is a big step up. For this to happen, and for the camera set up to reach its maximum potential, especially with super zoom feature, it requires that the chipset delivers. Huawei has worked on a successor to the much-vaunted Kirin 970. The new chip, Kirin 980 is needed to support the larger RAM specifications and is the same one employed in Mate 20 Pro.
The battery capacity equals 3,650 mAH and the phone runs Android 9.0 OS with Huawei's EMUI user interface.

Huawei P30 review: A pocketable professional
The Huawei P30 is a well designed, pocketable phone with a great camera solution. Thing is, it sits in the shadow of the P30 Pro, while last year's P20 Pro model is so similar in many regards that it might be the better purchase option on account of its now lower price point.
Pros:
- Slimmer profile than Pro model
- Capable triple camera setup
- Includes 3.5mm jack
- Gorgeous design and colour options
Cons:
- Lacks the quad camera solution of the Pro model
- Battery is fine but could be better
- No wireless charging
- Camera unit sticks out

Huawei P30 Review
The Huawei P30 doesn't match the P30 Pro when it comes to camera performance, but if fares surprisingly well everywhere else. The phone has a premium design that gives key rivals, like the Galaxy S10 a run for its money. Under the hood it has great hardware that will meet 99% of buyers needs. The only downside is that it's Emotion UI software is still flooded with bloatware.

Huawei P30 review
It fits great in the hand, costs less than a Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy S10, delivers a flagship experience and glistens like a unicorn should you opt for the breathing crystal version. If you can deal with the lack of wireless charging, curved display and the fact it packs only three cameras, there’s every reason to consider the P30 as your next smartphone.
