Huawei P10 review

The Huawei P10 is an impressive beast – it’s gorgeous, powerful and the dual cameras are a huge improvement over the 2016 flagship, the P9. Portrait mode works better than expected, photos are crisp, vibrant and detailed and even the selfie camera has had a meaningful upgrade. Huawei’s EMUI, one of the most controversial Android overlays, is much better to use than with previous smartphones, and offers machine learning algorithms that should speed up your phone the more you use it. Even the price is competitive at £569. The only downside? Despite being of a high capacity, the battery life of the P10 isn’t great, and some users may find that they have to plug it in to top it up once or twice a day, just to get through.

Excellent phone at a reasonable cost

Love this phone! Easy to use. Lots of good features. My only negative; Bought the phone because of the camera specs for the money. But I must say it's not easy to take a clear photo in non natural light. The camera settings are a bit technical for me.

Huawei P10 review: Strong camera in a compact body (that won't bust your jeans)

Despite some criticisms, the P10's lovely design and brilliant camera make it a very compelling choice -- as long as you can stomach the cost. The P10 may just be my favourite phone that Huawei has ever made.

Recently Huawei launched this year's "P" model, the high-end P10 with its Leica-branded dual cameras and a sleek metal design. However, as a high-end phone it will be outside the budget of some consumers. Therefore Huawei has also launched a cheaper version of the P10 called the P10 lite.

High-end craftsmanship The design quality of the Huawei P10 Lite really is at the highest level. The diamond cut metal frame is sided on the front and back by smooth 2.5D curved glass. The glass has a 7H hardness and this is equivalent to the hardness of quartz.

Surprisingly good phone

I got positively surprised by software on this phone. It seems quite widely thought through, with just few details I would consider strangely implemented, like data counter not allowing to define start of time period.
