Nexus 6P – Review
Google's latest handset has been garnering a lot of interest from the tech world over the last few weeks. In between all the reports of people not getting their orders delivered on time and Google delaying the launch, I managed to secure one for this review.

Review: Google Nexus 6P
It just works. It's a line we mostly use to talk about Apple, but it's really the story of the Nexus 6P . This is Google's new flagship phone, one of two it made this year to show the world just how good Android can be.
Pros:
- Proof that Google really cares about design! A Nexus phone finally has a great camera
- Decent battery life, and crazy-fast charging
- Now On Tap is a great idea
Cons:
- Now On Tap doesn't work that well
- USB Type-C is great to use but hard to find
- Android apps, generally speaking, aren't as good as iOS apps

The Nexus 6P is what happens when you cross a smartphone with a tablet. It is a large, well built ‘phablet' born from a collaboration between Huawei and Google.
Pros:
- Excellent 5.7-inch AMOLED display
- Nexus imprint
- Powerful innards
- USB-C support
- Front firing stereo speakers
- Long lasting battery
Cons:
- Tall form factor
- Camera struggles in high contrast situations
- No expandable storage

Great, but wares down over time.
I purchased the Nexus 6P a year and a half ago, and for the first year and 3 months it held up wonderfully. It had pretty average battery life, which lasted me through the day with about 10% charge left.
Pros:
- Good Screen
- great camera
- newest version of android
Cons:
- "Eh" Battery life
- Screen pops out of casing (in my experience

Horrible battery life!
I've had 3 different Android smartphones. I don't get a new one for 3 or 4 years. This one is barely 2 years old and the battery life is awful. Screen brightness all the way down, background usage and almost all app notifications turned off. Location services off, no wifi unless charging.

Huawei Nexus 6P
If you are looking for a flagship device running stock Android, then the Nexus 6P is the device for you. It has a great camera, vibrant display and overall good performance. However, if you want a smartphone that can give you more than just stock Android performance, then we suggest you take a look...
Pros:
- Beautiful display
- Great camera
- Good overall performance
- Nexus Imprint is brilliant
Cons:
- Inconsistent battery performance
- Too big for single handed use
