Can't imagine how phones could be better

I bought this as an upgrade from my Honor 8 which developed a fault after 18 months. It was repairable under warranty, but I'd be without a phone for a week. I have zero regrets. The honor 8 was very attractive, with decent power and expected features, but the honor 10 goes well beyond this.

Upgrading from iPhone 5S

"I've been intending to upgrade my phone for a while as the battery on my iPhone has been slowly dying and so I picked the honor 10. Its a great price for a great phone. Incredible battery life (and charging speed), brilliant screen size and colour contrast and all the features you'd expect from a...

Honor 10 Review: Peacock strut with decent guts

The Honor 10 is one of this year's best phones that was not officially planned for release inside the United States. But don't let that silly bit of business stop you. This smartphone is a work of art – not necessarily as a traditional does-everything handset, but in its unique set of special...

Camera AI is intriguing and usable; Hardware is beautiful; Price is right; Battery life is good; Most photos are top-notch

Display seems caught between fullscreen and traditional; Notch / Fingerprint scanner up front seem counter-intuitive; No water / dust resistance; Display not great for direct sunlight

Honor 10 review

The Honor 10 is an adventurous little phone, and one of almost unbeatable value. It looks striking, has an interesting “invisible” fingerprint scanner and fantastic specs for its £400 price. It just needed a few little extras to really trip up the OnePlus 6. The Honor 10 launches with a few performance bugs and the battery life is nothing special. With an ultra-bold finish and hyperactive AI camera mode, it flirts with the limits of good taste for some too. However, it’s certainly one of the best value high-performance phones of 2018.

Masses of storage; Bold screen; Fab value;

Camera is glitchy; Battery life could be better;

Huawei Honor View 10 Review

High-end smartphones keep getting better, but they also keep getting more expensive. The Huawei Honor View 10 aims to bring high-end features to a midrange $499 price. With a powerful Kirin 970 processor and dual rear cameras with bokeh effects and portrait mode, the View 10 lands in the same zone occuppied not long ago by the recently discontinued OnePlus 5T. If you're in the market for an unlocked phone with top-end features for less than $500, it's a solid choice. Design, Features, and Display The View 10 is a member of the same Honor family the 7X comes from, and the resemblance is readily apparent. It features a sleek aluminum metal unibody, dual rear cameras, and an increasingly common 18:9 aspect ratio. There are some minor design differences, like a fingerprint sensor on the front and rear camera placement, but you'd be forgiven for mistaking the two devices if they were placed side by side. The Huawei Honor View 10 is an attractive unlocked phone with the features and performance of high-end flagship models for significantly less money.

Good features and performance for the price; Attractive design; Crisp 18:9 display; Solid camera with cool AI-powered features

Heavy UI layer; Screen could be brighter; No waterproofing

Seeth thou a OnePlus device, geek Rest assured An Honor phone won't be too distant… The Mobile Bible, Indian edition No, we are not exaggerating. For, the past year has seen Honor and OnePlus lock horns time and again in the Indian market.

Brilliant design; Smooth performance; Good cameras; Face unlock works very well

AI in camera is eccentric; Can heat up sometimes while using the camera; Battery life is nothing to rave about; Fingerprint scanner a pain to set up

Huawei Honor 10 128GB

Gorgeous design; Easy to use with one hand; Battery lasts more than a day; Good primary and selfie camera performance

Excessive heating even under moderate loads; No microSD card slot; Kirin 970 just barely matches Snapdragon 835 performance

Honor 10 review

Huawei and Honor may be described as two sides of the same coin. Honor, being a Huawei sub-brand, has the benefit of having full access to its parent company technology and R&D. But when it comes to marketing strategy, the two companies couldn't possibly be looking in more different directions than...

I've aired a few concerns and nitpicks throughout this Honor 10 review. The lack of OIS on the camera is a bummer, EMUI still won't be to everyone's tastes, the decision to ditch the microSD card slot is questionable, and the device itself is as slippery as a snake that's been slithering around in...

Dazzling glass design Solid 19:9 display experience Kirin 970 guarantees incredible performance Excellent specs for the price AI Camera genuinely improves shots EMUI 8.1 is highly customizable Decent battery life Notch toggle

No microSD card slot Slippery glass No OIS on rear camera No IP rating EMUI still isn't perfect Visual shopping mode doesn't work
