Honor 10

Launched in April 2018, the Honor 10 is the new flagship smartphone from the Huawei sub-brand. Being part of Huawei, but offering much cheaper phones, you'll often find that a lot of the specifications of Honor's budget-oriented range have come directly from the more expensive Huawei variants (with...

Is honor 10 the Best Overall Flagship Smartphone of 2018

Whenever you hear the name honor , you will most probably think of it as the cousin of Huawei. Granted, honor is always using similar specifications after Huawei releases their devices, but what gives honor the edge is always the price tag.

Straight from China

The first review hope it helps: 1) Aesthetically it's a beautiful phone. No phone out there bar Huawei P20 that has the same shimmer effect. (looks like an iPhoneX). 2) The camera has an AI feature that "enhances" your photos without doing much editing yourself. Overall - average camera (3/5).

Honor 10 Review: STOP buying expensive phones – this has everything!

In a world where Apple's latest smartphone, the iPhone X starts from £999 and Samsung's Galaxy S9+ from £799, smartphone manufacturers like Honor and OnePlus are still managing to push out devices heavily loaded with high-end or flagship specs for a fraction of the price of what Apple and Samsung...

Huawei Honor 10: At £399, plenty of bang for buck – it's a pity about the snaps

Honor 10 lays down a challenge to any other phone demanding around £400 of your money. For comparison, HTC's Android One-based U11 Life was the last device I reviewed that checked in under £400, and the Honor has much more to offer: in performance, imaging and audio. And a headphone jack.

Honor 10

If you liked the look of Huawei's uber-swish, triple-camera-packing , but didn't fancy the £600-plus price tag, then the Honor 10 may well be the phone you're after. The Honor 10 is a baby aimed at the £400-500 mid-range phone market.

Sleek design; Powerful hardware; Good value

EMUI Android skin is bloated; Some performance bugs

Honor 10 Review: Peacock strut with decent guts

The Honor 10 is one of this year's best phones that was not officially planned for release inside the United States. But don't let that silly bit of business stop you. This smartphone is a work of art – not necessarily as a traditional does-everything handset, but in its unique set of special...

Camera AI is intriguing and usable; Hardware is beautiful; Price is right; Battery life is good; Most photos are top-notch

Display seems caught between fullscreen and traditional; Notch / Fingerprint scanner up front seem counter-intuitive; No water / dust resistance; Display not great for direct sunlight

Honor 10 review: Flagship features at a mid-range price

The 5.8-inch Honor 10 is the flagship Honor device for 2018. At £399 (inc. VAT) it's a relatively low-cost handset, in keeping with the company's value for money ethos. The Honor brand comes from the same stable as Huawei handsets, and there are often many similarities across the two product lines.

128GB of internal storage; Two SIM slots; Good screen with reading mode; Good battery life; Firmware update gives speed boost; IR blaster

Iridescent glass back is slippy and a fingerprint magnet; No MicroSD slot; Awkwardly located fingerprint scanner

Honor 10 Review

The Honor 10 is an interesting flagship offering because of its similarities to the Huawei P20. They almost have the same screen size, design, chipset, RAM and storage capacity, and battery.

* Premium build; * Good performance; * Good cameras; * Large storage; * SuperCharging; * Competitive price

That said, it's not quite the best in any area, other arguably than the design, which will be subjective, so there are certainly better phones around. But we're not sure there are any better value ones, at least not at this end of the market.

Stunning design; Great specs and features; Bargain price

Screen is 1080p rather than QHD; No water resistance; Camera is slow to launch
