It's a bit slow and doesn't give you much room to explore a whole lot. Overall good graphics though.

If you are a fan of 1st person perspective, open-world game play and the look of the CryEngine, this game might be for you. As you may have guessed, I am a fan of all of the above. The CryEnging looks great but I just wish the game had some woods/forest areas.

Don't get me wrong, there were parts of the original Homefront that I really enjoyed. The campaign had some decent moments, while the multiplayer had some great ideas and I found addictive at the time…but both elements had their issues…then there's been the whole THQ saga before Deep Silver picked...

Being that the first game was amazing and contained a lot of elements that made it a great game this game has it work cu out for it. Due to the fact it has a predecessor and that many games on the next gen have been a bust.

The game is getting negative reviews mostly. but i have played it, it is a nice game. will give 3.5/5...

Even enjoyable time to time. Still lacks technical polish, inspired side quests, and interesting story tho. The several smaller open worlds have plenty of character and traversability to make firefights varied. AI is pretty dumb bit lethal. Main missions can get intense. Stealth is near broken.

Was really looking forward to this after playing it at EGX. Game came to release it was just a buggy mess. Don't even get this if it's free

An interesting change of pace for a first person shooter that has some nice ideas and mechanics, but can't quite get everything to sing.

I could see myself enjoying 'Homefront: Revolution' briefly in a few years when I've managed to get through everything else in my backlog, itself a tall order. It has an adequate but not quite good campaign, easily skippable co-op, and some serious engine problems.
