The campaign took about 8 hours and that killer story hooked me more than the gameplay. Maybe it's because of how I'm conditioned to play console games but this RTS didn't grab me like other games in the genre have.
Pros:

Halo Wars 2 (Xbox One) Snapshot Review
Halo Wars 2 answers a call that went out almost as soon as the original game dropped on the Xbox 360. I'm happy to say that it's a nice, solid sequel too, managing to do almost everything right. The game looks good, sounds great, and plays as well as any RTS ever has on a console.

"My son absolutely loves it."
My son wanted this game pretty bad & says after playing it that it was worth every cent. It is still keeping him happy & very intrigued so I'm happy that I bought it for him.

Halo Wars 2 is not without its flaws. It doesn't have the depth of other RTS's, but it does control surprisingly well and multiplayer options are abundant. There may not be much lasting appeal for hardcore players, but it is certainly fun in the moment, especially for console players that aren't too...
