Halo: Reach

Do you consider yourself a Halo Fanboy? Better yet, do you think that one of the four previous entries in the Halo franchise is the best game ever made? If you answered yes to either one of those questions, stop right now and click to one of our other fancy reviews as this will NOT be the one you...

Test Halo Reach

Halo Reach review

It's finally here, after months of PR buildup in true Microsoft style, Halo Reach has been released and looks to be the big exit for developers Bungie, who have now worked on Halo for 10 years and whose Reach is the last Halo game they'll do. Does Halo Reach live up to its predecessors? Yep!

Awesome and polished gameplay; Lots of content and customization; Great campaign; Deep multiplayer

The story has some cliches; Large set pieces bring down the frame rate; Limited amount of multiplayer maps; Friendly AI often gets stuck

Halo: Reach

Halo: Reach is a well-designed and intricate shooter experience; one of the best on the gaming scene today. Even though I felt the story mode should've offered a bit more info about the characters and the setting in general, I still found it enjoyable.

A truly fine; perfectly balanced and gorgeous-looking shooter; with enough content to guarantee hours and hours of fun; accompanied by an excellent soundtrack and solid voice acting

Friendly AI gets confused sometimes (though rarely) in the single-player campaign; expected to see more stuff explained and a bit more eye-openers; the space combat bit feel somewhat unneeded

Outstanding Game

This game is great. I used to play mostly only Call Of Duty, but after picking up Halo 3 only a few months ago, I had to get Reach. It's such a great story and the online multiplayer is nothing short of fantastic. There is so much customization in the game which makes it even better.

Halo Reach review

So here we have Reach, the last Halo game by Bungie. And how fitting it is for Bungie to produce a game that takes the Halo story full circle, finishing where it all began on Planet Reach.  A game that details the events that led up to the story of the best game in the Halo series.

Great story; Lots of fun to be had online; The best Halo game since the very first offering

AI drivers are rubbish; Poor frame rate at times

Halo: Reach Review

Format: Xbox 360 Developer: Bungie Publisher : Microsoft Release Date: 14th September 2010 The original Halo was over long and very repetitive, albeit a game that certainly had its moments, Halo 2 was dull, Halo 3 way too short and uninspired, Halo:… O h D on't S tart T hat, okay, I won't.

Halo: Reach

We know it's been said a million times before, but really, Reach needs to be good. Brilliant, even. Whether it's the fact this is Bungie's series swansong, or just the way its last couple of Halo games haven't quite been of the standard you'd expect from a such a high-profile franchise, there can be...

Halo Reach

Those tired of Master Chief's super heroics will drawn in by the "men (and women) on a mission" saga of Team Noble's battle for a doomed planet. Those wanting more Master Chief will find sparks of greatness, but ultimately let down.

Halo: Reach Review

"Remember Reach." The marketing slogan for Microsoft's latest sci-fi blockbuster is so very Halo. Portentous, epic and heavy with martial sentimentality, it also has a slightly overconfident belief in the resonance of the fiction behind these excellent shooters.
