Halo: Reach

First off, there may be some spoilers. Now you all should know by now that Halo: Reach is Bungies last Halo game before handing it over to 343 Industries. -Follow the story of Noble team in a quicker more dramatic Halo environment. You immediately step into the shoes of a "new guy".

Halo Reach – Reviewed (360)

Love it or hate it (most PS3 owners do!), Bungie's epic franchise, Halo, will no doubt go down in gaming folklore as one of the very few franchises that has reached inter-stellar fame.

Halo: Reach

Flawless Victory: Games rated 10 aren't perfect, since nothing is, but they come as close as you could get in a given genre. The new must-have game in its sector, we're talking pure ecstasy.

Test Halo Reach

Halo Reach (Xbox 360)

The rest of the cast of characters includes Carter, the leader of the group; Kat (the only woman in Noble Team); as well as Jorge, Jun, and Emile. Unlike characters in a lot of shooters they aren't over the top, trigger-happy, crazy people.

Great graphics; intense campaign; incredibly deep multiplayer; great soundtrack; and wide variety of game modes

Not much variety in multiplayer maps; online co-op has some issues with lag; end to campaign could have been better; and reticule bloom can be frustrating for newer players

Halo Reach

The final chapter of a good book is often sad and rewarding at the same time - even more so when the book is the last in a franchise of great books. That is the feeling of millions of gamers worldwide as Bungie wraps up its tenure as the gatekeeper of Halo.

Halo Reach review

It's finally here, after months of PR buildup in true Microsoft style, Halo Reach has been released and looks to be the big exit for developers Bungie, who have now worked on Halo for 10 years and whose Reach is the last Halo game they'll do. Does Halo Reach live up to its predecessors? Yep!

Awesome and polished gameplay; Lots of content and customization; Great campaign; Deep multiplayer

The story has some cliches; Large set pieces bring down the frame rate; Limited amount of multiplayer maps; Friendly AI often gets stuck

Halo: Reach Review

Halo: Reach is the culmination of the superlative combat, sensational multiplayer, and seamless online integration that are the hallmarks of this superb series.

Every gameplay mode is seamlessly linked together; Exciting campaign draws on the best elements from past Halo campaigns; Armor abilities breathe fresh life into the excellent competitive multiplayer; Fantastic cooperative play; Extensive customization options and powerful creation tools

No party members allowed in the Theater; Imperfect friendly AI occasionally hinders campaign

Halo: Reach

Halo: Reach is a well-designed and intricate shooter experience; one of the best on the gaming scene today. Even though I felt the story mode should've offered a bit more info about the characters and the setting in general, I still found it enjoyable.

A truly fine; perfectly balanced and gorgeous-looking shooter; with enough content to guarantee hours and hours of fun; accompanied by an excellent soundtrack and solid voice acting

Friendly AI gets confused sometimes (though rarely) in the single-player campaign; expected to see more stuff explained and a bit more eye-openers; the space combat bit feel somewhat unneeded

Halo: Reach UK Review

One final mission before the inevitable end, and one last push for this gifted team who have redefined the art of war; at the climax of Halo: Reach 's campaign it's not just the planet that faces its downfall.
