Halo: Reach review

Halo: Reach is a fitting conclusion to Bungie's Halo series. Set before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved it tells the story of Noble Team, a squad of Spartans attempting to save the titular planet from the Covenant.

Trims the fat and delivers a Halo game that plays as homage to the series as a whole; Armour ability system is a great step forward; Expanded multiplayer options increase value.

Fails to truly convey the drama of Reach's fall; Thin characters; Some over-developed Convenant weaponry.

Multiplayer fun

I mostly only used the multiplayer options. What I like is that you can play with friends through the campaign, and it's a lot of fun. And of course the option to play online with random people on the internet is cool though standard today.

Great game however better alternatives are available

My first halo game I enjoyed playing it however after a while it just felt repetitive I guess I'm not a hard-core halo fan I enjoyed playing halo multiplayer on PC however on xbox could not play multiplayer due to not getting a subscription which I cannot justify the game may be great however when...

Michael Jordan returns to the NBA

It just hasn't been the same since ‘he' left Let's be totally honest. Basketball just hasn't been the same since the Chicago Bulls number 23 called it quits. I know there are some great players in the NBA today, but even the likes of Kobe Bryant and new Miami recruit LeBron James will always be...

Presentation, including visuals and audio, make it seem like you're a part of a telecasted game; You can play as Michael Jordan

Some graphical issues can dispel the illusion somewhat; Navigating the menus can take a little getting used to

Test Halo Reach

Halo Reach review

It's finally here, after months of PR buildup in true Microsoft style, Halo Reach has been released and looks to be the big exit for developers Bungie, who have now worked on Halo for 10 years and whose Reach is the last Halo game they'll do. Does Halo Reach live up to its predecessors? Yep!

Awesome and polished gameplay; Lots of content and customization; Great campaign; Deep multiplayer

The story has some cliches; Large set pieces bring down the frame rate; Limited amount of multiplayer maps; Friendly AI often gets stuck

Halo: Reach

Halo: Reach is a well-designed and intricate shooter experience; one of the best on the gaming scene today. Even though I felt the story mode should've offered a bit more info about the characters and the setting in general, I still found it enjoyable.

A truly fine; perfectly balanced and gorgeous-looking shooter; with enough content to guarantee hours and hours of fun; accompanied by an excellent soundtrack and solid voice acting

Friendly AI gets confused sometimes (though rarely) in the single-player campaign; expected to see more stuff explained and a bit more eye-openers; the space combat bit feel somewhat unneeded

Outstanding Game

This game is great. I used to play mostly only Call Of Duty, but after picking up Halo 3 only a few months ago, I had to get Reach. It's such a great story and the online multiplayer is nothing short of fantastic. There is so much customization in the game which makes it even better.
