The laptop was very fast. However, I bought it the specs said that it was much brighter (600 nits) than my current PC (300 nits). Unfortunately, it was only marginally brighter (425 according to my light meter).

The HP ZBook Studio G5 managed a good showing in our review – that is why it scored 87% and the grade "good". It shares most of its best features with the EliteBook 1050 G1 . Certainly this is not a big surprise, considering that the ZBook Studio uses the same stable Unibody chassis as the EliteBook...

Great notebook for work and home. Solid design, fast, and has run everything I've loaded onto it from large spreadsheets, video editing, to games.
And if that wasn't enough, this mobile workstation can also be equipped with a UHD DreamColor Display with a brightness of 600 nits. The keyboard feels nice and when we benchmarked for performance, it scored well for its cost.
