Love the lighted keyboard
Great notebook
Perfect laptop! Just purchased the same model recently from wantITbuyIT.com. Normally, I don't read long posts, but it had been worth the time. The battery life is good unless you are doing something that involves a lot of processing power but do you recommend it for gaming?
Brilliant Battery life
Not for Gamers
this laptop offer good value. the temperature is ok. an ssd instead of HDD would be better suited.
fast value
none
Display resolution is poor. Otherwise its a great laptop quick and lightweight. Cold if your wearing shorts unless it has been on for a while
For those of you who would like 2 drives. This is a great unit to add a Samsung 850 evo M2 and make it your boot drive. Especially if you are going to use the Windows 10 install disk and do a clean start. Use the old hard drive for backup or whatever!
The new Skylake SoC results in a higher CPU and GPU performance compared with the predecessor. It can even be called conditionally gaming suitable when a second working memory module is installed. The laptop is always quiet and barely heats up. The battery life is also satisfactory.
matte; Full HD screen; empty M.2 slot; decent battery life; quiet operating noise; low temperature development; two maintenance hatches
dark screen; 12-month warranty only
I bought this for work. I wanted to make my life easier without having to buy adapters so a VGA for my work is a must as is a optical drive.
Well made! Purchased for $899 (not a bad price
Too much HP software etc but at least there aren't 50 extra programs trying to be sold to me embedded into the recovery disc
Bought this lap top less than 4 months ago and it is in the shop with a non-repairable hard drive. It is a non-HP refurbished computer. Not worth paying less to get a faulty unit. I like the size and lightness but the faulty hardware makes it useless.
