Good notebook. I upgraded to 16gb and added a second ssd 500gb. This is now a good little work horse. I prefer the business grade notebooks since the components and shells are better made. Can edit go pro video, play old games, run virtualization software eg hyper-v note will need win 10 pro.
Not bought from Amazon but using it since April 2016 and my overall experience is good. Laptop is light weight and sleek. The silver metal finish adds to the look. Keyboard has a nice soft feel while typing. Battery lasts 4-5 hours of continuous usage (not monitored precisely).
Thereby, the GPU performance has increased more than the CPU performance. However, the computer does not require more energy under load. Thus, the battery runtimes in our practical scenarios did not change compared to those of the Broadwell ProBook.
matte display; high-end case; works quietly; good battery life; maintenance hatch; free M.2 slot; good keyboard
dark; low-contrast display with narrow viewing angles; only 12-month warranty
The Pros: There's a lot to like about the ProBook 430. With a 13.3" screen and a very slim chassis, it's the perfect size for travel. The laptop is lightweight and fits easily into a backpack or just about any laptop case. The keyboard feels great, and the trackpad is nice and large.
