Unexpectedly Poor Performance

I bought this all-in-one for my wife because price and name looked good. The reviews online looked good, but I guess they were for the Intel-based Pavilions, because this Pavilion is a dog in all respects - programs lock up and don't respond while the CPU and RAM struggle.

Defective

Just received and unboxed this today. It's a nice system. It's 1080p... but spread that out over a 23" screen and the pixels are actually relatively large. Only a problem if your face is too close to the screen - but don't expect a smartphone-like pixel density.

Excellent product

Ordered for my daughters Christmas, the product delivery arrangements were excellent. Installation and set up were very straight forward - even when fitting in between cooking the turkey and preparing for 12 guests.

Clean, Compact, and Incredibly Functional

I watched this model from the time it appeared on the market (priced from $1100 to $1300 depending on the vendor) through price reductions as newer models were released, and I felt at $649 it was time to finally purchase it. The unit itself is perfect ...

Price perfromer however

The unit itself is excellent. However the keyboard and mouse were throw aways. The keyboard feel was poor plus it did not have a height adjust nor a nor num lock key. The mouse was poorly constructed consequently was hard to use. Both had to be replaced.

The screen resaloution is ok, could be a lot better the computer is really slow compared to other computers today, I would buy it if your looking for an upgrade from an old computer and not neccesarily the best computer

HP TouchSmart Pavilion 23 -- f260xt All-In-One Desktop Review

You may notice some similarities between this write up and the Envy 23 review we posted back in April, although this HP does not come with as many bells and whistles. Nonetheless, the Pavilion 23 is built for both work and play with a Windows 8 operating system and delivers faster than expected...

No Hassle Setup; Touch Capabilities; Daring Display; Customize Your Desktop; Decent Audio

Minor Grievances; Graphics Lacking; Dated Design

Jan 17 2014 - For those that want a low cost desktop all-in-one system, the HP Pavilion 23-b390 is a good overall option. It offers some decent performance from its AMD quad core processor and better than average integrated graphics.

Good PC for Office use

I would recommend. The system comes with a 3 month full warranty since it was bought refurbished. We've been using it for a month now, and very pleased with it. Will have to revisit the review in a year. Connected a cable lock to it, worked just fine.

Easy to set up; Unpacked and turned it on

The keyboard is tiny, our church secretary was not comfortable with it; But external ones work fine
