HP Omen Mouse 600 Review

Most gaming mice have one key element that sets the mouse apart from the rest. Examples? The Razer Basilisk has a resolution-shifting "sniper" paddle; the Logitech G603 Lightspeed features low wireless latency. For HP's Omen Mouse 600 ($59.99), designed to complement HP's Omen Keyboard 1100, the distinguishing factor is a whole host of little things. The star of the show is a Pixart sensor whose precision makes it a value-minded gamer's favorite, but another highlight is the set of removable weights inside. And then there's a sharpshooter's resolution-switcher button on its left side. The HP Omen Mouse 600 packs a shooter-game-focused arsenal of features (sniper button, removable weights) into a solid impulse-buy gaming mouse.

.So i'll start off with one of the worst features on this mouse that makes this not even usable to gaming standards. This mouse comes with 'preprogram' commands built into the mouse. No software or download needed. It's plug and play. Even for HP PC's.

Its ok

Got this as my farewell present from work. Played Dota 2 but the side button doesn't work apparently. Only one works so thats a bit crap. Also the mouse shapes are shifting upwards, its hard to explain. It gets to the point that the shape doesn't click anymore.

Design Flaw

If you are a gamer, do NOT buy his mouse if you play First Person Shooters. There is a design flaw with mouse where if you hold down both Right and Left mouse buttons, the mouse resets. The user manual states this should be bind to the side buttons but it is not.
