HP Omen Mouse 600 Review
Most gaming mice have one key element that sets the mouse apart from the rest. Examples? The Razer Basilisk has a resolution-shifting "sniper" paddle; the Logitech G603 Lightspeed features low wireless latency. For HP's Omen Mouse 600 ($59.99), designed to complement HP's Omen Keyboard 1100, the distinguishing factor is a whole host of little things. The star of the show is a Pixart sensor whose precision makes it a value-minded gamer's favorite, but another highlight is the set of removable weights inside. And then there's a sharpshooter's resolution-switcher button on its left side. Often available well below list price, the Omen Mouse 600 is an inexpensive rodent that, when you add up the details, punches above its weight. It's an especially good pick to complement an HP Omen desktop or laptop.
