I've been keen to try a monitor that uses the Nvidia G-sync, and after moving from the AMD freesync I can honestly say I wouldn't look back, the graphics for gaming are second to none provided you have a system powerful enough to run the monitor to its limit.

Came in with a dead pixel. Good thing Amazon has a great return policy. Other than that, the screen has an extremely weird and annoying glare. Ruined the point of having 1440P for me, not enjoying to look at.

HP Omen 27 Gaming Monitor review

As far as gaming monitors go, the HP Omen 27" performs incredibly well with a gorgeous display that's crisp and fluid, and it has a few nifty features as well. However, it's also a bit expensive for what it is.

Vibrant 1440 display; Impressive response time; overclocking to 165Hz; G-Sync enabled

Difficult to navigate menus; Color banding in shadows; Weird placement of buttons and ports

Good monitor but pricey for a TN panel

Quality- HP clearly has good quality control, as there are no dead pixels and I've had no issues at all with the monitor. The stand is solid and has lots of adjustments, and it's sexy just to look at powered off.

Omen by HP 27 Gaming Monitor Review

The Omen by HP 27 is a good quality 27-inch gaming monitor that easily takes the fight to the likes of the Asus PG278Q and Dell S2716DG. Its gaming performance is excellent, its image quality is as good as you can get for a TN gaming display and it has essentially all the features you'd hope for.

Class-leading design; Excellent gaming performance; Good image quality for TN; High brightness

Expensive; Poor viewing angles; Poor light grey colour reproduction; No pivot or rotation on stand

Poor quality on the tripod caused the screen to break when I stopped in the cords on the back. He does not even use the screen. Although the fixed screen had "clipped" to the stand, it slid off without warning and fell about 10 cm before it met the wooden desk.

Absolutely stunning monitor. Although if you've never had g-sync before and you buy this for gaming, you'll never want to go back. If you're using this for something other than gaming, I'm not sure if the g-sync is worth the extra cost (but this is just pure speculation), even though the display...
