Fail

Out of the past 2 weeks I have used this machine it has successfully printed out ONE piece of paper.. Between repetitive jamming and it not even printing the document saying that it has Low ink after printing out that one piece of paper.. it has be extremely unsatisfactory.

HP Officejet 4500 Wireless All-In-One

Good, if you want an economical printer that you wouldn't mind discarding after a few ink cartridge changes. Bad, if you want a reliable printer which will not give you compatibility issues every time you need to replace the ink cartridge.

Fair initial quality with copy features found in more expensive printers

Poor long-term reliability; Does not accept refilled ink cartridges; I refilled the OEM cartridge at Costco and the printer will show incompatibility warnings when the ink cartridges are reinstalled.

Works pretty well

So far it was the best bang for your buck investment I have made although sometimes I had to deal with it's small problems. Guess that's what you get for a refurbished printer.

All-in-one for a good price

*It keeps thinking there is no paper at times

Steer Clear, much better optiions at the same price

This came free with a laptop that I bought 3 years ago. Ran into constant issues with this printer: paper jams, wireless connectivity not working, and the scanner not working. Sometimes I can resolve the issues after 30 minutes of troubleshooting and successfully print, but then the issues come up...

Mangles Paper

I have always had HP printers but I had problems with this 4500 from the start. First I couldn't get the drivers to load and spent over 5 hours on "chat" then on the phone trying to get it to load. It never did load properly. Then the printer mangles every few pages when printing.

Do not buy under any circumstances...

There's a very good reason for not buying this printer, apart from the fact it's very hard work. On the paper tray there's a tiny lug that you only need to look at from ten paces and it'll fall off.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY!!! - The wireless feature did not work from day one - After 6 months changed ink cartridge and now it wont print- giving a ink cartridge error message, it is installed properly! Not worth it... will never buy HP again.

Junk It

This is the worst printer I ever owned. My old Epson worked better than this. Issues with it freezing up, Paper jams, Crooked print. Printing on wrong lines. It would be a good toilet plunger.

HP has become worst Printer/all -in-one ever

HP has become worst Printer/all -in-one ever, their softwares do not work without giving errors, no good support is available. It is always a headache, HP printers consume too much ink. Software are so bulky that they occupy lot of memory. Always gives errors. DO NOT buy.
