HP Laserjet P1102w
When it comes to printing documents, the best option in terms of value and speed is usually a laser printer. And with lasers now available for well under £100, they are becoming more and more popular with home users.

HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Wireless Mono Laser Printer CE658A
This is actually the second p1102w I am getting - I still have the previous one (been using it for more than 2 years now - works without any problems) and getting this as a gift for my sister.

HP LaserJet Pro P1102w
Little printer sacrifices speed and paper handling. It can actually print faster than its advertised 19 pages per minute, PCMag.com finds. But the HP LaserJet Pro P1102w still pokes along more slowly than its 27-ppm Brother rival in independent tests.
Pros:
- Very small footprint
- Good-quality text printing
Cons:
- Subpar graphics (like many laser printers
- Expensive toner
- No duplexer
- No Ethernet connection

Great Buy for the money
I use this B&W printer for everyday printing and print using the wireless feature. The set up is quick and easy. The printer is FAST. They are not kidding about the speed. Copies are crisp and clean.

Quick and keeps a hefty bowl paper. Have the same notes as our multi-machine HP LaserJet Pro M125nw. Quite small and fits nicely during checkout. Purchased on Amazon

PLEASE READ!!! I bought this printer from Amazon in June 2014 and the price I paid was $89. For some sick and insane reason this printer is now selling on Amazon for $359. I'm curious if anyone can explain to me how a printer value increased 75% Did the hp printer factory or warehouse burn down

Impossible to use as a wireless printer
I am a computer professional, and have spent the last two hours trying to setup wireless printing from my Mac and Windows computer. It simply does NOT work. To configure the printer, you have to first hook it up via USB to a computer, then download the printer drivers.

I was looking for a small, affordable laser HP printer and decided to purchase the HP Laser Pro1102w printer. I have an Apple Max laptop and do not have a CD inserter but as soon as I plugged the usb cable to my laptop and plugged the electrical cord, it asked me if I wanted to add the new software.

This inexpensive mono laser is competent for a home or small office that doesn't print much and is strapped for space. But we've seen better models for the price.
Pros:
- Compact
- Easy setup
- Supports Wi-Fi
- Low initial price for a laser
Cons:
- High per-page costs
- Low-capacity paper tray
- Low monthly duty cycle
