This inexpensive mono laser is competent for a home or small office that doesn't print much and is strapped for space. But we've seen better models for the price.

Compact; Easy setup; Supports Wi-Fi; Low initial price for a laser

High per-page costs; Low-capacity paper tray; Low monthly duty cycle

Hi I bought a p1102 hp printer and after having officejet 5610 I'm surprised! Faster than my previous ink printer, I found it to be very economic for my research printing jobs and etc. But there's a problem with knowing the average capacity of one recharge of it that I guess it must be 1000 Pgs.

HP LaserJet P1102w laser printer

HP had a special event a few weeks ago to launch, among other things, a new range of printers that feature what it calls HP Smart Install – plug one in via USB, and it automatically uploads its drivers to your computer, installs itself and is ready to go within minutes. Great, right?

Wireless printing; auto-off/auto-on; good print quality

Smart Install doesn't work on Macs; wireless instructions aren't provided for Macs

HP LaserJet Pro P1102w review

The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w is faster than your average low-end laser, and it has wireless to boot. Unfortunately its toner is very expensive, making it appropriate only for low-volume users.

HP LaserJet Pro P1102w

The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w is an entry-level monochrome laser printer with some added features to make it stand out. One of those features is built-in Wi-Fi for wireless printing, which is really useful in a home with many computers or a small business office.

Compact and stylish; Wi-Fi printing; Very quick printing; Good text output quality

No automatic duplexing; High toner cost; Mediocre graphics quality

HP LaserJet P1102w

Review HP's entry-level laser is available with and without a wireless connection. The LaserJet P1102w has one and the asking price reflects this. This is another extended bread loaf-shaped printer, with the main feed tray folding down from the front panel.

"CAN YOU PRINT FASTER?"

QUICK INTRO TO WHAT THIS PRINTER IS First and foremost this is a review for the HP LaserJet Pro P1102. As it says in the name it is a laser printer. This means that the printer produces extremely high quality text. However, this particular laser printer only prints in black ink.

It is a laser printer so it prints extremely high quality documents extremely quickly

It only prints in black and white; not colour and it is not wireless

HP P1102W

The P1102w targets SOHOs and small- and medium-sized businesses and in this grouptest, it manages a fair few distinctions.
