HP LaserJet Pro P1102w review

The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w laser printer looks like a bargain, but its pricey toner makes it good only for low-volume use.

HP LaserJet Pro Printer P1102W

I agree with a previous reviewer, the printer was very difficult to install on our network, if fact we never succeeded. However we all use laptops in our office and once you turn the printer on all of the laptops could see and setup the printer wirelessly. Overall, good price, good quality.

Great little workhorse

I have this printer on my desk at work and it just keeps going and going! I have used it for over a year and like it so much I bought one for home. It doesn't print color or scan or fax (my MFC does that) but its the best for printing pages and pages of text and reports.

HP's LaserJet Pro P1102w has good speed and Wi-Fi, but expensive toner

The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w is a basic monochrome laser printer with a few surprises, namely better-than-expected speed and Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, its pricey toner offsets its very affordable purchase price.

Wi-Fi connectivity; good speed

Expensive toner

Great B&W LaserJet printer

I wanted a basic B&W printer without Scan or Fax capability. This one was the perfect choice. Set-up was a breeze. I was able to wirelessly connect to my home network via modem without any problems and was printing within 10 minutes. I highly recommend this printer.

Good Points: First page prints very quickly and the installation was extremely simple and without problems. Bad Points: Very "plasticy" and flimsy looking. No USB cable.

Outstanding little black and white home office workhorse. Relatively inexpensive given the networking features, this printer is reliable and performs well.

Nice product for the price

Pros: Setup was surprisingly easy, even on an Ubuntu laptop. Wireless printing setup was fairly painless. Print service plugin on Android (in this case using Nexus 4) works well also.

Cons: When printer goes on power safe, it doesn't always come back on nicely.

Compact Design; Easy To Set Up; Easy To Use; Fast Print Time; Low Ink Consumption

Powersafe Is Unreliable
