Good printer - lousy setup

This seems to be a compact, dependable B&W laser printer but the installation was extremely difficult. I have a degree in computer science and my husband is an engineer - we have a lot of experience with computers and have probably purchased 15 or more HP printers over the years.

Excellent

Needed small printer to fit in bookcase. .This so far superb - sharp enough to print draft B&W photos [ I have another printer in the garage for serious and colour work], fast to start and print. Previous inkjet frequently clogged. This comes on immediately with no head cleaning pfaff.

Ink jet printers are for smucks. The cost per page is seriously high. And the technology is terrible. If you print most everything in black, and have a small desk, this printer rocks. I would give it 5 starts if it was easier to set up with a USB cord to find my wireless network and its password.

I have had this mono printer for 6 moths, I use genuine HP cartridges, I'm now getting broad central black bands right down the middle of the paper whether a text document or plain page printing. This is also a noisy printer and cartridges last approx 6-8 weeks of light domestic use.

HP LaserJet Pro M15w

The M15w is all about the size: You can toss it in just about any office and it will go virtually unnoticed. It's also small and light enough to take with you to trade shows, soccer league tryouts, and so on.

Tiny footprint; Low purchase price; Robust smartphone integration; Good overall print quality

High running costs; No Ethernet port

HP LaserJet Pro M15w Review

HP's $99.99 LaserJet Pro M15w is an entry-level personal monochrome laser printer for use in small and home-based offices, student dormitories and bedrooms, and just about any place else where space is limited. The M15w is the smallest laser printer we've seen to date. It prints well overall and is fast given its low price, but its running costs are high enough to relegate it to low-volume use. Its unique size and HP's Smart Task mobile device integration, though, set it off into a class all its own, making it our top choice as a light-duty personal laser printer. Smaller Than a Breadbox At 6.3 by 13.6 by 7.5 inches (HWD) with its trays closed and weighing 8.4 pounds, you can put the M15w just about anywhere. One of its closest competitors, the Editors' Choice Brother HL-L2370DW ($152.99 at Amazon) , is nearly twice as long and heavy, and while there are family oriented and home-based inkjet all-in-one (AIO) printers close in size and weight to the M15w, none of them are single-f...

The HP LaserJet Pro M15w is an excellent, inexpensive, and tiny monochrome laser printer that's as easy to use on the road as it is to tuck away in a small office.

Excellent Compact Printer - Perfect for small business or personal use

I was looking for a small laser printer for my home use and this was a exactly what I needed. It was easy to connect to my wi-fi network. I can print from my laptop, pc, tablet and phone, there is an HP app you can download that helps you scan documents and then send them to your printer.

Great Linux Support, Even Better Price

I went to buy ink for my Canon Pixma MX492--$60 for a theoretical 300 pages, assuming it didn't drain the color cartridge even when printing in black and white only (which it does). Saw this at $80 and it was a no-brainer. Refills are $30 and rated for 1000 pages.

A handy little mono colour laser jet

This HP laserjet is a really handy little number to have around in a small office for everyday printing tasks. It has AirPrint and an introductory laserjet cartridge so you're ready to print in a few minutes.

Hp Laserjet Printer M17W

Great small printer. It's a little bit noisy but most are, but if you need a small laserjet black and white printer it does the job. I don't print a lot of things at one time, but it prints I believe 19ppm. It has no problem printing PDFs, photos, and it's very small.

Compact design; Durable; Easy Controls; Easy To Set Up; Excellent Print Quality; Quality Construction
