Went through 2 of these in 2 years
HP support is non-existent after warranty. They know this product is junk. Their forum page on these issues is filled with the same worthless advice over and over and does not address the real problem. We are moving away from HP printers.
Pros:
- By the specs
- this device fits a nice niche with its features/price
Cons:
- Unreliable
- We had 2 of these
- Both of them broke a month after warranty for different reasons
- On one the document scanner went out (the reason is a crimped ribbon cable that gets stressed each time you lift the flatbed cover).

HP M1536DNF Mfp Printer
"I have given 1 star for the price and not for the printer. The cost of the printer is around Rs. 22,400/-. As regards the printer, it is very good one and uses cartridge 78A. I give full 5 stars for the printer.

Except to the fact that it function its tasks like printing/copier/fax, there's none about this HP M1536dnf printer that is extra ordinary. Very limited with its printing capacity plus it has no wireless connection.

So Far excellent product
Printer was easy to install and set up both in wireless mode and wired to PC. Quality of print is great and is supporting several PCs in the house. Also have set up to print from smartphone.

The printer doubles up as an efficient scanner and copier too,and works great for my SOHO.

" Good features, install just OK "
Installation was quick and easy except for one thing. I wanted the printer set up for USB (to my desktop) and wireless (for my laptop and other home PCs). Using the provided install package, it wasn't obvious how to do this. Made it work by installing USB, then going back and installing wireless.

Poor Number of Copies per Cartridge
My biggest complaint about this device is the number of copies per toner cartridge. It is way too costly to operate. I used to own a much cheaper Brother printer that produced way more copies/pages per toner cartridge.

I must say, I'm disappointed
There is nothing special about this multifunction printer except the fact that its very average given its price. All the more, it doesn't even have a wifi connectivity which is available in a very less-expensive printer by HP themselves
