Does NOT work with MACS

After hours of attempting to set up this printer through various channels (including the software CD, the online website, and online support), I finally read a forum that explained that Mac's and this specific HP model are not compatible.

Could not connect to new Wifi

I've had this printer for few months, got it for my kids projects. Printing is not lightning-fast, quality below what I was expected, but for school projects will do. Two weeks back we switched internet provider, and since then printer could not connect to Wifi.

Got this printer on sale. Great value. Easy to setup. Wireless printing connects to 2.4ghz or 5ghz wireless networks. No issues with print quality out of the box, this will do everything we need for home.

Yes this printer is very smart to install and use.

The printer i bought is really very good and very user-friendly. One thing that is at startup it noises that should be cleared.

Image print quality is just not acceptable even for a laserjet printer

prints texts quickly; USB and wifi connection a plus

image print is grainy regardless of the originating image size even at 1200dpi setting and highest setting

HP LaserJet Pro M102w

Designed for home-based or micro offices, the monochrome HP LaserJet Pro M102w ($159.99) is small enough to fit on most desktops, and it would make a good fit as a personal laser printer connected to a single PC.

Good text print quality; Low price; Reasonably fast; Compact; Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct support

Subpar graphics and image print quality; No Ethernet connectivity; Does not support automatic two-sided (duplex) printing; High running costs; Potentially confusing registration process

HP LaserJet Pro M102w Review

Designed for home-based or micro offices, the monochrome HP LaserJet Pro M102w ($159.99) is small enough to fit on most desktops, and it would make a good fit as a personal laser printer connected to a single PC. (You get Wi-Fi and USB connectivity, but the printer lacks an Ethernet port for wired networking.) The M102w is fast enough given its size and price, and it prints terrific-looking text, if not always graphics and images. But it can't print two-sided pages automatically the way our Editors' Choice models, the Canon ImageClass LBP151dw ($409.99 at Amazon) and the Dell Printer - E310dw ($698.99 at Amazon) , can. Design and Features Measuring 7.5 by 14.5 by 9.7 inches (HWD) and weighing 10.4 pounds, the M102w ($89.99 at HP) is a little bigger than a breadbox—more than small enough to fit on most desks, and easy enough for one person to move. As with most standalone printers in this class, it has a minimal control panel consisting of a combination Wi-Fi button and Wi-Fi sta...

The monochrome HP LaserJet Pro M102w is an inexpensive and compact standalone laser printer that prints terrific-looking text and so-so graphics and images, making it a decent fit for a micro or home office.

Good text print quality; Low price; Reasonably fast; Compact; Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct support

Subpar graphics and image print quality; No Ethernet connectivity; Does not support automatic two-sided (duplex) printing; High running costs; Potentially confusing registration process

Super duper

I bought this printer on sale for $35 out the door. It was going to be used as a transition printer while awaiting my new ink jet to be delivered. Once the ink jet was installed, I realized how much faster and inexpensive this was to use, Unless a printout needs to be in color, I use this for...

Has all a personal user needs, with low running and purchase costs

Easy to set up, and perfectly viable for 2 - 5 users. Has the flexibility of WiFi connection, so fewer wires needed. Prints fast and good quality if your print requirements are generally text only. Running costs extremely low compared to many in this price range.
