Setup is easy, printing is fast, colors are smooth and accurate, duplexing works well and overall it does a great job. I mainly use this for printing, however I also do quite a bit of scanning documents, so the only feature I dislike on this is the scanning feature.

I have been through probably a dozen printers over the years, all ink jet. I can only imagine what I have spent on ink. I share time between 2 households, so I go away for a month or two and return to find my print quality is terrible, the print heads are dried out, and no amount of head cleaning...

Not great. Spent more time talking to HP support than is reasonable for a product in this price bracket. Warranty period was supposed to be three years on-site. For some reason it was registered already, back in July last year, and the warranty expired in October. Took a week to sort that out.

The fax is largely irrelevant these days but the overall capability of the machine is fantastic. I'm still working out the feeder for the scanner as it seems to print the same side whichever way I put the paper! As a hone/small business machine I can't fault it.
