WORST PRINTER EVER

The number of problems with this printer are endless. If you buy this product it will be nothing but suffering from the day you install it to the day you throw it out. Firstly, I had to install numerous times, why? who knows-the beauty of HP!

Carriage Stuck

Read these to find out what was wrong.

Was a breeze to install the software and wireless capabilities; unfortunately; never got to test them

Removed all tape and stickers from printer and began installation; Software installed perfectly, including wireless access; But when I began the hardware installation of inks i noticed a problem.

Big disappointment

This printer is very disappointing. It loses its wireless connection constantly and runs out of ink quickly. The ink is very expensive and the quality of the print is just not that good. I loved HP printers in the past, and I regret this purchase very much.

Not the best HP Photosmart I have owned.

I have owned 3 different HP Photosmart printers before this one and had never been disappointed until this one. The paper load tray and tray for printed paper is very flimsy. I have owned this printer only 2 weeks and it has already jammed twice and has had multiple cartridge jams.

Compact Design

Flimsy Construction; Jams Easily; Unreliable

The HP Deskjet is perfect for small print jobs, and shouldn't be considered for print jobs that require either a lot of color, or lots of detail, as the paper tray can only handle about a 1/5th of a ream of paper. The printer is fairly quiet, and doesn't jam very often.

set-up let-down

I bought this item locally when my previous printer died suddenly with urgent printing to do. The reason for choosing it was that it used the same ink cartridges as my old printer into which I had recently installed XL cartridges and also it was available at (unusually), a price highly competitive...

Canon Pixma MX892 review: nice paper handling, good speed, so-so costs

Canon's Pixma MX892 Wireless Inkjet Office All-In-One color inkjet multifunction printer (for printing, copying, faxing, and scanning) is suitable for a home or very small office. It delivered good output quality in our tests, and supports both automatic duplex printing and scanning.

Automatic duplex printing and scanning; Good speed and output

Inefficient control panel

HP Photosmart 5520

Fast, easy to set up and boasting a wide array of mobile printing options, the HP Photosmart 5520 ($109) has the makings of a great all-in-one printer. A built-in touch screen makes this device a cinch to use, and the 5520 supports Apple's AirPrint as well as a printing app for phones and tablets...

Easy setup; Huge number of printing options; Fast wireless printing speed; Relatively inexpensive ink cartridges

Images and text appear grainy on regular paper; Overly bright photos; Very loud when loading paper
