Was a breeze to install the software and wireless capabilities; unfortunately; never got to test them
Removed all tape and stickers from printer and began installation; Software installed perfectly, including wireless access; But when I began the hardware installation of inks i noticed a problem.
This printer is very disappointing. It loses its wireless connection constantly and runs out of ink quickly. The ink is very expensive and the quality of the print is just not that good. I loved HP printers in the past, and I regret this purchase very much.
Basic setup is easy and quick. Advanced setup. Took over an hour to download updates and other software for it using broadband connection. No offline image editing software included.
power saving; easy to use lcd panel
takes up alot of space; paperjams; advanced setup

Automatic duplex printing and scanning; Good speed and output
Inefficient control panel
Fast, easy to set up and boasting a wide array of mobile printing options, the HP Photosmart 5520 ($109) has the makings of a great all-in-one printer. A built-in touch screen makes this device a cinch to use, and the 5520 supports Apple's AirPrint as well as a printing app for phones and tablets...
Easy setup; Huge number of printing options; Fast wireless printing speed; Relatively inexpensive ink cartridges
Images and text appear grainy on regular paper; Overly bright photos; Very loud when loading paper
The $129 (as of May 9, 2012) HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One color inkjet multifunction (copy/print/scan) is a decidedly welcome replacement for the
