Canon Pixma MX895 review

The MX895 is the latest in a long series of inkjet all-in-ones from Canon. Its features include USB Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity faxing a small (3in/7.6cm) yet clear and bright display and a set of buttons that are backlit to show only the controls relevant to the current mode.

Duplex scan and print dual paper feed

Limited cassette capacity

Great medium duty color laser printer

Replacing old HP Color LaserJet 2840: + Not as noisy + Smaller footprint + Color touchscreen display eliminates buttons all over printer + Easy drivers & apps installation through network or USB and apps works with Windows 8 + Double-sided printing - Printer not quite as well built with more plastic...

Easy to Use; Meets Expectations; Features

great printer let down by the out 'tray'

Can someone explain why HP have suddenly started putting a pathetically flimsy little plastic flip out arm - that barely holds 10 sheets of paper let alone the 15 it claims - on all their domestic printers ? They've finally started using seperate inks for each colour.

I had nothing but problems with my old Lexmark. The HP was plugged in, the instructions on the touchpad were followed and it set itself up without a hiccup. Running costs are lower than other printers I have used and having individual colours means you are not throwing away unused ink. I love it,...

Not Bad ... Not Bad At All

We use this as a combination home and home office unit with a medium-duty cycle of around 2,000 pages per month. It's replacing our old workhorse HP 2840 that finally went to the great HazMat graveyard in Sunland.

Fast; Quiet

Uses Too Much Ink

Solid product. Could be better.

We were replacing an HP M3035 that was 4 years old and not worth repairing. The M475 is much sleaker in design, but seems to give up some speed to our old machine, which was surprising and disappointing.

Compact Design; Easy To Set Up

Jams Easily; Slow Operation

HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One Printer with E-Print, Apple AirPrint and Google Print

Very easy to set up and I'm no techno geek, haven't tried all the facilities yet but I can't fault it
