When printing anything with photos ALL pictures are too dark, to the point I need to utilize my old printer and cannot print brochures or presentation materials.
I used the literature and CD that came with the product and the printer was up and running in a matter of minutes. The iphone and ipad print to it wirelessly and the office computers print though the network connection.
We just installed the new printer and are very pleased with the quality and how fast it prints. I read all the reviews before choosing this printer because this is a big investment in our small office. Very happy so far!

The printer destroyed the plastic belt that feeds paper over the toner rollers after only two years. The part costs nearly $450 to replace, nearly the price of a new printer. Total loss. Print quality issues also with black streaks appearing across each page periodically.
Pricey toner undermines this otherwise excellent single-function LaserJet, which is competitively fast and prints well (surprisingly so, with photos).
Fast print speed; Excellent print quality; especially with small fonts; Multiple expansion options; Stylish and well-built
A bit pricey; Full set of four high-yield cartridges is more than $1,000; Wi-Fi module costs extra; Many mobile options unavailable without Wi-Fi upgrade; Cost per page too high
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M553dn ($599) leaves off a few of the extras found in the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M553x -the new high-end model in the company's 500 series of single-function color laser printers -but it comes in at a much more moderate price.
Fast; Above-average output quality across the board in testing; Excellent graphics; 650-sheet standard paper capacity; PCL and PostScript drivers
Display is a non-touch LCD
Still in the early stages, but I've used M551's and they're rock solid. I expect many years of printing from this model too.
"Enterprise," of course, means busy, or relatively high-volume-a whole lot of printing going on. When I wrote this, the M553dn was on sale for $200 off, or $599.99. In either case, a single-function printer would need to be special in one way or another to justify either price, but of course it's a...
I ended up having problems with this printer from the get go. When it did work, it worked great though, which was hardly ever. HP customer support was horrible. And there is little to no information on the internet about this model. I ended up returning printer and getting a refund.
