I have to agree with other reviewers regarding the lack of an integrated DVD player/recorder. When you are paying top dollar you would expect to get all the bells and whistles. Would not have bought this model if I had known beforehand. Oh well, live and learn!

The item is a little pricey and I don't understand why it had no internal DVD.

The HP Envy 27 27-inch monitor is not only aesthetically pleasing, it delivers rich colors and premium audio quality courtesy of Dr. Dre's Beats Audio technology. It's also more expensive than most 27-inch monitors.

Positives: cool looking, has integrated speakers to minimize the clutter, picture is clean and sharp. I didn't find any better high end combination of size, picture quality and sound integration available when I scoured the market.

I recently purchased this monitor to go along with the tower I bought a few months ago: Both arrived in less than 5 days in excellent condition through normal shipping. The HP My Display software that's included adds a lot of different tweaks and settings for getting your perfect picture as well.

Great monitor. Exactly what I had expected based on internet research. I especially love the integrated speakers, facing front, which is just great for me, but might disappoint others.
