I purchased this printer/scanner in May and also signed up for a monthly subscription. The printer quality has been okay and until this week I didn't need to use the scanner. However a few nights ago when I tried to scan some documents I discovered I still needed to download the scanner driver.

HP appears to be specializing in ink sales, with frequent messages when loading, reminders, and a failed printer when you refill cartridges. Add the requirement of tying into the internet and who knows what kind of data mining.

I picked this up on a lightning deal for $50 and it's the best printer I've ever owned. Set-up and ink installation was fast and easy, I had no issues connecting other devices to it which were on the same network (my PC is custom built and has no bluetooth receiver, I did the set up from my phone).

I have two laptops with Windows 10 on them and one with Windows 7. I have tried repeatedly to set up a wireless connection to this printer with the laptops that have Windows 10 to no avail. The laptop with Windows 7 is very easy to set up the wireless connection on.

Would not recommend this printer. Couldn't get it to set up, couldn't get the software to download finally found out the HP website was down. Got the software downloaded and installed the next day after the website was back up but the print quality is the poorest I have had on any of my printers.

This printer won't let you set it up until you agree to the instant Ink package. I tried to sign up, using the coupon and select pkg and this printer model is not even eligible for instant ink!The printer is not very user friendly and trying to even scroll for options on front is very difficult.

I purchased this printer for my son. He didn't like it because she said it was too slow. It sat for quite a while. My printer finally died, so I hooked up this one. I do a LOT of scanning. I like PDF documents. When I scan using this printer, it does not give me a choice for PDF.

Choosing a great printer is easier than ever. With how many formerly premium product features have become standard on home printers, it's actually starting to get difficult to go wrong in your selection. Difficult, but not impossible.
