I have two laptops with Windows 10 on them and one with Windows 7. I have tried repeatedly to set up a wireless connection to this printer with the laptops that have Windows 10 to no avail. The laptop with Windows 7 is very easy to set up the wireless connection on.

Never in my life have i found such a difficult printer to set up, and also if you place a piece of paper or something to scan it actually goes under the lip as there is a gap. total useless machine

This printer was not that easy to setup. Used quick setup instructions and they did not provide much help. Did the manual setup and was able to get the printer setup properly. Be aware, the website description and the labeling on the box leads you to believe that this printer is capable of faxing.

Very easy to operate,quick and simple to use. My previous printer was a HP photo impression model which lasted 10 years with daily use, this model 5030 whilst not as robust is more practical for my usage now. Print quality is excellent, use well with both mobile and iPad..

I don't like this printer at all. The ink does not last long. The print quality is not good. The printer is very picky. If you open a door without shutting it off first you get an error message. I bought it because it was one of the smaller ones and was cheap and I needed it quick.

Affordable; Lightweight

Brought this printer in a hurry as our old one stopped working. I was so glad I chose this model for its ease of set up and fantastic print quality. In fact it is much better than my original printer which was twice the price ! ............ real bargain and great purchase.

HP appears to be specializing in ink sales, with frequent messages when loading, reminders, and a failed printer when you refill cartridges. Add the requirement of tying into the internet and who knows what kind of data mining.

Would not recommend this printer. Couldn't get it to set up, couldn't get the software to download finally found out the HP website was down. Got the software downloaded and installed the next day after the website was back up but the print quality is the poorest I have had on any of my printers.

After reading many reviews, I purchased the HP Envy 5055. First one had faulty on-off switch; returned to Office Depot for replacement. Installation went smoothly as per instructions from 123.hp.com; however, the scan feature would not connect.
