HP Elitebook x360 1030 G2

The HP Elitebook 1030 G2 is one of the finest thin and light laptops we have seen from HP in the past year.

Best in class build quality; Striking looks; Good port selection; Reliable battery life

Display could have been brighter

Nice computer!

It is a very slick computer with enough power to do data analysis.

HP Elitebook X360 is one of the best Windows laptops out there, it's an enterprise laptop built to pass mil spec testing and comes with a 3 year warranty instead of standard 1 year. The fit and finish is on par with Apple MacBook Pro and performance is top notch.

The unit I happened to buy seems to have a faulty display. It goes solid grey after locking, unlocking then logging back in; either that or it flickers off and on. When upgrading the BIOS it goes solid grey again. I am working with HP to resolve it, and they agree it is faulty.

HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 – like name, like nature (review)

The HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 comes with a range of processors, ram, storage, screens, touch or not, and one has an innovative Sure View integrated privacy screen to keep prying eyes out. HP's Elite range of PCs, notebooks and more are reserved for business use.

HP Elitebook X360 1030 G2 review

HP's business ultrabooks are generally superb, and the Elitebook X360 is no exception to this trend. Sleek, attractive, and dripping with power and functionality, this machine is a mightily capable enterprise powerhouse.

Excellent performance; stylish design and appearance; Full complement of ports

Underwhelming screen; Slightly chunky compared to other convertibles

I have one of these laptops at work. 16 and a half hours is a complete fabrication. Starting from 93% battery, I set Windows to Best Battery Life, turned the screen brightness down to the minimum (almost impossible to see) and even turned off the backlit keyboard.

Mediocre with a major design flaw

HP does not display a birds-eye aerial view of the keyboard in its marketing materials; if they did, I wouldn't have purchased this model. The flawed keyboard design combines the home, end, page up, and page down keys with the arrow keys.
