Product itself looked and performed great, unfortunately it was not as described on the HP website, who were not interested in attempting to resolve the issue until AMEX got involved. Great product, but would think twice about buying HP again after that experience.
HP's Elite x2 1012 G2 is an elegant convertible that is primarily situated in the business sector and takes over from HP's Elite x2 1012 G1 . The familiar stylish, basic design looks appealing and the good choice of materials conveys a high-quality feel to the user when holding the device.
very good build; agreeably quiet; good system performance; bright IPS screen with high color-space coverage; LTE modem; keyboard dock; Active Pen; fast M.2 SSD; long battery life
high price; permanent load burdens cooling unit; high casing temperatures during load
Good performance as a tablet, but not as a desktop replacement. Our corporate tech support has had returns from two different users who tried it as a desktop replacement. Apparently when they connected it with a dock to two external monitors, the video performance slowed down significantly.
Beautiful device. Stand is very sturdy, keyboard TouchPad and pen are all excellent and easy to connect to the device. I wish it had an HDMI port, but a $40 USB C hub an address that and more.
