Quick update to this GREAT phone re: prior review
I was trying to edit my first review but seems you can't. So very quickly just wanted to add the new firmware and Windows 10 mobile anniversary were finally released for the HP Elite X3. The difference is amazing...I am finding this phone now as, or more stable than my Galaxy Edge 7.

Love my phone, durable and solid feel in the hand, finger print reader and iris scan is awesome! Windows 10 a little buggy but fast and responsive....wish it had more apps but then again if I wanna play games I have my android, it's only 999 at windows store, I wouldn't pay 1500 for it tho...

First 3-in-1 device in the world
Hey Newegg - FIX the error, it runs Windows 10 Mobile or Pro via Continuum, NOT silly WIndows Home !
Pros:
- It's actually all it advertises/claims
- I spotted it like a YEAR ago in development stage, released in August but HP stopped sales, refined camera, & finally resumed in October-November 2016, long wait...
Cons:
- Lack of Contracts with carriers to reduce price
- as of today you still have to pay full/retail price for it
- contract or no contract
- same price

"Best windows phone ever"
Best windows phone…. It's impressive to see a new manufacturer get so much right on the first try. Speakers: The speakers are loud and solely distort once nearly maxed. Whereas they lack the bass of a lot of consumer-friendly phones just like the iPhone, the Elite x3 excels for Skype calls wherever...

The Best Windows phone made so far!
I purchased this phone a week ago and I could not be happier. I bought it for work but I've since switched my Nexus 6 out as my daily driver. The web browser is so good I've found myself just pinning the web pages as tiles in the place of apps that are missing in the app store library. It's fast.

Exellent Windows 10 Mobile Smartphone
The HP Elite x3 has all the high end features and performance. Seller was excellent in communication and shipping was extremely fast.

I really wanted Windows phone to integrate with my home PCs. What a pile of crap this phone... Nothing against HP, I think they did a great job as build quality is pretty high. But software, the windows 10 on this phone is a huge pain.
