its a good little notebook for browsing the web and doing some basic word processing

Display brightness on our unit was a low 198 nits; Mediocre battery life

No regrets buying this Chromebook. Fast and a great battery life. For a smaller laptop, I was surprised at how loud the sound got. No video lag. Typing is comfortable. Most of all price is a win. I pick up the Chromebook first every time over my windows computer now days. Travels easy.

HP's Chromebook 11 G4 ( from $280 ) has a dull-gray shell that screams, "bulk education purchase" more than "buy me." Precisely because this school-oriented model can bang around in backpacks, however, it could teach its consumer Chromebook cousins a thing or two about build quality.

I bought this for my 1st grade son who is required to have one in school. He had no problems getting started with using it. It's sufficient for his needs for school. We are able to connect to the wi-fi quickly and the online applications he uses for class.

A touchscreen laptop that still runs on Win 8, DVD drive, and bluetooth. A solid choice.
