While many all-in-one PCs are designed for home use, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M92Z targets small business owners as an affordable, strong PC for everyday use. Some of the standard features make this a unique and interesting business computer.

If you need to run video conferences; the webcam delivers high-quality images and smooth frame rates

The base model cannot handle the transition to Windows 8; and the cost of upgrades add up quickly if you're buying more than one computer for business use

For businesses that don't harbor plans to migrate quickly to Windows 8, and particularly those that engage in frequent Web conferencing, the ThinkCentre M92z all-in-one offers ample performance for the daily grind.

Competitive performance; Quiet operation; Stellar Webcam performance; Bundled keyboard and mouse are pleasant surprises; Three-year warranty

Two-point touch support insufficient for Windows 8; Display cannot be laid completely flat; Drab design

Lenovo ThinkCentre M92 review

Sales of PCs may be falling, but there is still a place in many businesses for a desktop computer, especially a compact design such as Lenovo's ThinkCentre M92 which can sit discretely on the side of a desk or even attach to the back of a monitor.

Compact desktop chassis; internal access for maintenance; can drive multiple displays

No vPro support in M92 version

Lenovo ThinkCentre M92z review

The ThinkCentre M92z is a good-quality business-grade 23in. all-in-one computer. To get the most out of it, though, you may need a better-specified model than the entry-level system reviewed here.

23in; matte IPS screen with good viewing angles, DisplayPort in and out, Power-frugal, Quiet in operation

Non-vPro Core i3 CPU; Integrated graphics; Moderate performance

HP Z420

The HP Z420 ($2,768 direct) is a mid-level single processor workstation from HP. It has a good measure of expandability backing up its liquid cooled Intel Xeon processor and Nvidia Quadro workstation-class graphics.

Review: HP Z420 Workstation

In a never ending effort to always improve, HP has released a new version of their Z workstations. These new workstations are the Z1, Z210, Z420, Z620, and Z820. HP was good enough to send me the Z420, which is their Price/Performance Leader, and I am going to put it though its paces

Tech Shop Shipment

Today I received my order for this product. It was listed as 16 GB RAM, 1TB hard drive. What I got from J&R was 4GB of RAm and 500 GB harddrive. I am afraid to look any deeper. I don't think J&R is very reputable.

Love this Computer

We bought this for hubby, he needed an upgrade but didn't want Windows8 yet. This fit the bill because we could order W7 instead. He loves the speed too. We have always had HP computers, and saw no reason to change now. .
