Cheap flimsy plastic body that is somehow heavy yet weak and a very low quality screen. Performance otherwise is apt for browsing the web, sorting emails and online banking. It's also been a decent replacement for our media box which died recently. The salesperson we talked to via email was very helpful in recommending us an extra storage box in advance, the laptop can't store much on its own.

Panicked slightly when I read that review just as I received mine in the mail. If it WAS TRUE then why on earth would you ever accept it? You would go straight back to the retailer to complain. Yes on the box it states the model is 4GB by HP, but when booting up into BIOS it recognizes a 8GB module, meaning it was modified by either HP or PB. I really don't understand these types of reviews, "4/5 but the car didn't come with tyres, its ok though" - like who in their right mind does that? It's either clearly wrong and should not be acceptable, or you're not looking hard enough.

I purchased this for my wife who just needs to check emails, browse the web, some video calls, and work with the occasional office document. This meets her needs well. It seems to have great battery life, although it's not getting a lot of use yet. The case is plastic and does feel a little flimsy, like I would not recommend for school use, but for use around the home it will be fine. Very happy with the purchase which is working well so far and was reasonably priced. Easy to set up and use. Had a few issues trying to purchase with a Q card due to a combination of Q card being down and the black friday sales, however third time lucky and it arrived promptly via courier within 24 hours :)

Picked up mine yesterday via click and collect. Memory is listed as 8GB on the website but is actually 4GB in reality. Also stated on the product box too. Hopefully gets corrected soon. Otherwise good product.
