This game is one of the best racing games for a while. The choice of racing makes it so much better. It picks up where GRID left off with the endurance racing, the street racing is better than it was on GRID 2, and the touring cars are reminiscent of the old TOCA games.
Grid Autosport is about as close to racing perfection as gamers will get and it's another compelling reason for keeping your current-gen consoles plugged into your TV next to whatever next-gen behemoth you've decided to invest in.
No modern-day racer captures the romantic ideal of driving a racing car like GRID Autosport. I'm talking about the roar of the crowd and the squeal of big, fat, slick tyres over smooth asphalt. Lock-ups into hairpins as you dive down the inside of the leader on the last lap.
Superb car handling that's both deep and fun; The best AI in any racing game; Looks sensational on Xbox 360; Excellent split-screen mode; Fixes everything GRID 2 did wrong
A few under-developed features like pit radio
Dont get me wrong i love the game, the sound and the graphics are amazing the best ive ever seen. The thing that im dissapointed in for this game is how hard the controls are to race in it and its ever so annoying to turn. Me and my cousin played this and it was almost impossoble to turn.
There are a variety of different racing games on the market for families to invest in. Grid Autosport is a solid entry on the Personal Computer, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. Some in Family Friendly Gaming Nation may wonder why this franchise was not moved to the next gen home consoles.
GRID Autosport is the newest racing title from developer and publisher Codemasters. The game adds new features and innovations to the series and offers a entertaining racing experience that can rival the Gran Turismo and Forza series.
For the first time in years, feels like a Codemasters racing game built to appeal to long-time Codemasters racing fans. Grid Autosport promised proper motor racing, and that's exactly what it delivers (and plenty of it, to boot).
Doorhandle-to-doorhandle racing; Well-executed handling; Great selection of tracks
No pitstops; Mixed visuals
GRID Autosport doesn't have an in-car cockpit view. It has two in-car cockpit views. Despite releasing a scant twelve months after GRID 2, Codemasters' latest track racer addresses every criticism that fans levelled at last year's mixed effort. And then some .
Five unique disciplines; feels like five fully-featured racing games in one, Grippy handling, solid damage modelling, excellent competitive AI, Massive amount of meaningful content and quality, Impressive PC visuals, Fully-featured multiplayer, splitscreen and party games
Campaign can feel clinical; locks you to specific pre-made cars; No pit stops; oddly condensed Endurance races; People will still moan about the in-car views
