As proud PC gamers, you may feel a little aggrieved to be reading this review now, rather than nine months ago when this game first reared its tabloid-baiting head on the PlayStation 2.

Great game – much the same as the PS2 version, but if you have a good PC then you get a lot more draw distance, and other visual goodies. You can also save your replays with the PC version, and send them to others – great for making stunt movies, which will surely flood the fan sites soon.

Following up one of the greatest games of all time was surely a daunting task, but the sickos behind Vice City have pulled it off with style. Shifting the cop-killing action from the East to West Coast, San Andreas finds a merciless thug returning to his hometown to avenge his mother's murder.

Who on this planet have not heard about Grand Theftt Auto: Vice City, especially after its successful debut on the Playstation 2 last year. So it's not surprising when Rockstar Games announced they are porting San Andreas to the PC and Xbox.

Back in October 2004, Sony PlayStation 2 gamers were blessed with another installment in the already highly successful (and sometimes controversial) Grand Theft Auto series. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas ripped through the sales charts and received rave reviews from game critics everywhere.

Having played through the entire game of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on the PS2, it is only natural that I wanted to see how the PC version fared. In general, I enjoy the PC version of the GTA series more than I do the PS2 ones.
