History I first encountered the Gran Turismo series way back when the first Playstation was in it's prime in the late 90's. Apart from small metal models, I had little to no interest in cars prior to playing, but I had the second incarnation of GT in my possession regardless.

Graphics; Soundtrack; Loading Times; Not Innovative

The Gran Turismo game series has always been a favourite of mine. Gran Turismo 5, whilst graphically accomplished, was fussy at times, bogged down by long loading times and a poor interface. To my surprise and utmost delight, Gran Turismo 6 has been released on the PS3.

this is an ok game. some of the races are extremely easy and some are almost impossible to get gold in. the cars drive well and there is some difference in the handling of each car. it al seems like it was put together by people who are a bit to serious.

Bought in sale, well worth the cost. Have all editions from the very first. This is the best so far.

Great graphics and plenty of cars and tracks to choose from; Loading times are sometimes slow but not too bad

The cars and tracks look great however tgis is all out of sync with the sky which appears to caese severe screen tearing. I had a headache after driving round a couple of tracks. It seems that the high detail level of the vehicles has come at the cost of overall graphical quality.

with the changes coming to F1 there will be a time when the PC and other platforms will catch up, in the meantime? I did have GT5 and thought it was a good driving sim, GT6 is the same game with a few more whistles, again you have to get going and do all the levels to get to the heart of the game,...

While Gran Turismo may have pioneered the sim-racing on consoles, the genre has come along way since the original GT debuted on the *gasp* original PlayStation. Ever since its main competition Forza entered the fray the GT series has seemed, to me, to be a step behind especially with its lengthy...

I bought this to replace my GT5 which had frame rate issues on my PS3 were the screen kept cracking while playing. Unfortunately this game suffers from the exact same problem. The graphics and physics engines are very similar between the games.

bought this game and starting playing.. there is a really nice menu to the game but some disappointing glitches/bugs which are the sound. when you are racing and shifting it bugs out and makes weird noises which doesn't sound much like a car for milliseconds which doesn't sound like much but it...

The marketing for Forza says it's the best rated racing series of the last 10 years. That may be, but I much prefer the single player racing and time trials in the Gran Turismo series. This latest version improves the interface between races and reduces race load time.
