You need to have confidence in your smartphone. I’m confident in my Google Pixel 7, as it has done almost everything I asked of it and sometimes even exceeded my expectations. However, there is some evidence my confidence shouldn’t be taken as proof that you’ll be equally as happy and confident in the Pixel 7 you buy. There is a cloud hanging over this otherwise excellent smartphone, but should it affect your decision to buy it? The Pixel 7 isn’t a design revolution compared to the Pixel 6, and that’s the best thing that could have happened. Superb camera; Long battery life; Eye-catching design; Vibrant screen; Years of software updates; Fantastic price;

Slow charging; Software bugs; Poor gaming performance;

Google Pixel 7 (128GB, Lemongrass) AU - Excellent review

Hannah Stryker / Review Geek The iPhone 14 is the latest iteration of Apple’s flagship device. Since its launch, the iPhone has set the standard of what a smartphone is, what it does, and how it looks. Fifteen years later, it’s still doing that.

Top-notch cameras, Amazing display, Snappy performance, Great battery life

It's just "this year's iPhone"

Google Pixel 7 (128GB, Lemongrass) AU - Excellent review

The Pixel 7 remains a charming and impressive all-rounder with a particularly impressive camera system, especially now that it’s cheaper in the wake of the Pixel 8 release.

Great camera, Good screen, Stylish design

Few upgrades from the Pixel 6, No telephoto camera, Slow charging
