The Pixel 2 XL is an interesting smartphone. We would sum it up as an all-around decent smartphone that has the best camera and software performance you can find on an Android phone today.

The Google Pixel 2 XL has its moments, but its display could easily be a deal breaker for some. It has an excellent camera, but it is somewhat inconsistent.

Google has not become tired of saying that the best combination of hardware, software, and artificial intelligence lies in the new smartphones. Indeed, the Google Pixel 2 XL leaves a very positive impression, especially the camera knows to please, and the new Google Lens feature also works well...

A bigger, sharper screen and thinner bezels make the Pixel 2 XL the more desirable Google phone, but some early units have been dogged by screen issues.

The camera's Portrait Mode doesn't work as smoothly as its competitors' dual camera; Its battery doesn't last as long as others in its caliber and the phone has no headphone jack or wireless charging; The displays on some handsets have irksome screen problems

Despite losing the cherished 3.5mm headphone jack, the Pixel 2 XL makes up for it in spades with a mix of unique and sought-after features like a stellar design, waterproofing, Active Edge and a truly impressive camera.

When Google launched its Pixel phones at the tail end of 2016, they were very well received. But time moves on, and I've lately been spending a little quality time with the Google Pixel 2 XL. How does it stack up?

Even though more Android OEMs than ever before are using stock Android or near-stock Android software, the ecosystem remains highly fragmented. Every year Google releases its own Pixel phones to deliver premium and uncompromised experience to Android loyalists with a promise of up to 3 years of...

This is where the Galaxy S8 Plus comes in: it's cheaper and has both of those features and matches the Pixel in just about every area.

The phone is good, but for that price, I would expect something far better. I have a Moto X Style which I paid around 250€ 3 years ago and it has a superb screen compared with Pixel 2 XL. I'm a big fan of Google and Android but this phone has a lot of flaws that are unacceptable at this price range.
