It's been a year since Google introduced the world to Google Home, one of the company's first physical hardware products and generally the best way to interact with the then-nascent Google Assistant.
I bought the mini while on sale, and it worked great for the first day but I started to encounter an issue where playback of music would suddenly stop and start for no reason. I read google and reddit forums and while the problem has been known to google since the original home came out in December...
Bought month ago, just love it Slowly getting to work as we learn off each other.... Beware nearby ph call it's interupted many times ,( Wonder if it's 2 smart products malfunction), Alsowhen music on it won't listen/ (understand)order to stop , no matter how clear you speak
It is great I listen to sum relaxing music at night and sum time in the morning. I love it
Well over a year after the launch of the Amazon Echo Dot, Google finally has a competitor out. Announced alongside the all-new second generation Pixel smartphones, the device might have gotten a bit overshadowed but fret not, we've been testing it out the last few days and have a review ready for...
The Google Home Mini is quite literally a mini version of the standard Google Home. It's really competing directly with the Amazon Echo Dot , but with more of a focus on design and audio quality. At $50, it's priced affordably and has a lot to offer.
Attractive design; Better audio quality than Amazon Echo Dot; Affordable; Works with most smart home devices and music streaming services; Google Assistant works quickly and accurately
Shopping feature with Walmart is still nascent; Audio quality falls apart at high volumes; Cannot pair directly with other speakers (requires Chromecast Audio

I love my Google home mini from Micro Center the helpful staff helped pick it out for me from the back because they didn't have anymore on the shelves. If you have smart connected devices this product is a must have for the price. Works well with all my Nest connected devices.
The Google Home Mini is both affordable and capable -- for $49 it can pull up loads of information, control your music and videos and manage a wide variety of smarthome devices. Its tiny speaker sounds better than expected, though you probably won't want to play music on it.
Extremely affordable; Does everything the bigger Google Home can do; Manages many popular smarthome devices; Speaker sounds pretty decent for its tiny size
Microphones aren't very good for voice calling; Doesn't have as much third-party support as Amazon's Alexa; Somehow still doesn't support professional Google accounts
We're clearly big fans of the Google Assistant, and any device that makes it more accessible to the masses is well worth a second look in our book. If budget was no option then the standard Google Home offers significantly better audio quality, but for most people budget will unfortunately come into...
