Review: God of War Collection 2

If you skipped over the two PSP God of War games, then redemption is here, and it's running at sixty frames per second in 1080p.  The controls are better (the right analog dodge is a subtle blessing), the action consistently slicker and the visuals are much improved due to better textures, richer...

The graphical refresh is a real delight; These are two utterly brilliant games; It can be pre-ordered for around £25

PSP owners will have already seen all there is to see

God Of War Collection Review

However, the one thing that you simply cannot deny is that this collection provides fantastic value for money. 20 notes (or less, shop around people) for two of the greatest games of the previous generation is a bargain not to be sniffed at, well unless you happen to be getting the early trappings...

God of War Collection Review

A terrific compilation which gives two of the best games of the previous console generation the tender, loving care they deserve. Utterly essential for everyone with a PlayStation 3.

The portable Kratos...now on your big screen!

Don't let my thoughts on Kratos as a character dissuade you though. The jump Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta have made on to the PS3 is nothing short of fantastic. Regardless of if you have already seen the end credits for both of them on your PSP or if this would be your first look at the...

God of War Collection: Volume II PS3 Review

There's been a total of five God of War games now, spread across the PS2, PSP and the PS3. Bluepoint Games brought the first two PS2 games to the PS3, updating the visuals into HD and doing a real grand job.

God of War: Origins Collection

The move over to the PS3 also gave these two titles something they were missing on the PSP and that are the right analog stick for dodging and the L2 and R2 buttons for magic and special abilities. Epic and grandiose are two words that can be used to describe the God of War franchise.

God of War: Origins Collection Review

As I finished up my play through of Ghost of Sparta, I realized that I had completed every game in the God of War anthology on one console. This is one of the things I love about this generation...

+ Looks awesome in HD; + Everyone can now enjoy them; + Right analog makes a huge difference; + Fills in story gaps

Now I want more PSP HD collections

God of War Origins

Let me first start by saying that God of War is, easily, one of the best game series' that I've ever had the chance to play.  Kratos knows how to kick some serious ass, and the fact that he just gets meaner and stronger through each game still gets my blood pumping.

God of War Collection Review

God of War and God of War II were two of the biggest reasons to own a PS2.   With both titles earning a stunning 94% from two of our reviewers, there is no doubt that it was a must-own title on that platform.
