God of War: Origins Collection

The move over to the PS3 also gave these two titles something they were missing on the PSP and that are the right analog stick for dodging and the L2 and R2 buttons for magic and special abilities. Epic and grandiose are two words that can be used to describe the God of War franchise.

God of War Collection: Volume II PS3 Review

There's been a total of five God of War games now, spread across the PS2, PSP and the PS3. Bluepoint Games brought the first two PS2 games to the PS3, updating the visuals into HD and doing a real grand job.

Review: God of War: Origins Collection

All in all, God of War: Origins Collection is a truly awesome collection. The two PSP games were already excellent in their own right, but with all the improvements that have been made, they have earned the right to reside next to their console counterparts.

God of War Collection 2 (God of War Origins Collection)

Following the success of The God of War Collection 1 which remastered the first two games of this popular series in high definition for the PlayStation 3, Sony have done the same for both Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, two God of War games exclusively for the PSP.

God of War: Origins Collection

God of War: Origins Collection tells a pair of unique, interesting stories. One follows the over-the-top, frequently brutal and brooding exploits of the iconic warrior Kratos. The other, perhaps more compelling narrative, recounts the challenge of squeezing everyone's favorite Spartan onto the...

God of War Collection: Volume II

Kratos returns to Playstation 3 with his two PSP adventures in tow. If you've missed out on them, this is the perfect opportunity to catch up.

More Kratos; Solid combat.

The graphics aren't as pretty when blown up; The animations are a bit sparse a times.

God of War: Collection 2

It's pretty difficult to significantly fault Volume II. The battles are smaller, and the games don't look as good as the titles that were built for PS3, but they never were going to.

God of War: Origins Collection

God of War is one of those rare video game franchises where every game in the series has been a spectacular achievement in terms of gameplay, graphics, and storytelling. For the most part the series has been exclusive to the PS2/PS3, with the three main games in the series releasing on the consoles.

God of War: Origins Collection (PS3) - Review

It seems as though the breakout success of Sony's God of War Collection back in 2009 started a trend because since then publishers have been scrambling to produce HD re-releases of popular franchises.

The portable Kratos...now on your big screen!

Don't let my thoughts on Kratos as a character dissuade you though. The jump Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta have made on to the PS3 is nothing short of fantastic. Regardless of if you have already seen the end credits for both of them on your PSP or if this would be your first look at the...
