This product was easy to set up,just the right size to hold in your hand as you run around to find caches. Overall a good product to use with our Primary school children and not too expensive!

The eTrex 10 is small and light and the cost is low. Battery life is excellent. It's waterproof and seems pretty tough too. If you just want a GPS as a backup this is a good choice.
low cost; light; compact; waterproof
small screen
For $ plus free shipping, you really can't go wrong with this little thing. If you don't need detailed maps and all the bells and whistles, this thing will get your location just as accurate as much costlier models (we matched it up with 62s, 30s, etc. and it did just as well).
Great little GPS. Would have been nice to have had more detailed instructions included, but can be downloaded.Cabela's had best price and free shipping at time of my order.Would recommend Cabela's And Etrex 10
I use it as bike gps during training with MTB. Good battritid, durable, waterproof, starts and freezes quickly. GPX files are trouble free and work well with both orux maps and with strava.
I bought this product because we geocache alot, and decided to try paperless caching. This device works great for that. its simple, easy to use and lightweight/small. Fits right into my Motorcycle mounted GPS holder and works great!
I use this for my geological mapping for my dissertation. Provides accurate grid references within a couple of metres, I actually found it to plot my position better than the eTrex 20 and it is half the price, only real difference I honestly found between the two is that the etrex 10 is black and...
using it on our boat and love the features and price

I wanted a new GPS for hunting - so basic waypoint's, tracking and backtrack and this little GPS does it all well. I can mark favorite spots and it gets be back to within the meter even in thick bush. The battery performance is good - but always take a spare pair in your backpack.
Those who are looking for an entry level GPS, and those who have just about every GPS unit Garmin makes. I'm in that last group.
light,fast,get's it...
sticky at times when...
